I like to try different types of food. Many places that I go and have the opportunity to try a variety of foods.
Malaysian foods are diverse, supplemented with food from foreign countries such as ASEAN, Europe, America, India, Thailand and many more make the selection more variety.
Generally, we don’t have to go far to find any kind of foods. All available in Malaysia. If you want to eat Italian foods, you can go to Italian restaurant. If you like middle east food, you can select many Arabian restaurants sprouting like mushrooms. If you want to eat Chinese food, there is 1001 restaurant in Malaysia.
This time I want to story about popular, famous and hot spots place among Malaysian. I am sure many love to eat there.
Malaysian Mamak is a Tamil Muslim. They are also a citizen of Malaysia. Mamak Stalls or we call Kedai Mamak well-known among the Malaysian community. All races in Malaysia such as China, India, Malay and etc love to eat at Mamak stall.
The most interesting they provide a casual and affordable food for local people who need a place to relax or socialize. People choose spots for hangout with friends, even for family, they often bring their kids eat there.
There is an open mamak restaurant equipped with a flat screen television or projector, so that customers can watch the latest programs or live matches while enjoying the food.

Another mamak specialty is Roti Canai. The roti canai taste very fluffy, tasty, extremely delectable. Usually we eat with sauce call dhal, chili paste, and or chicken curry. The priced for one roti canai quite cheap less than RM1.50.
Now days, Roti Canai was widely commercial. There are frozen roti canai sold in supermarkets. There is the many method of cooking roti canai. Examples: roti sardine, roti bom, roti telor (egg), roti pisang (banana) and many more.
For a heavy menu like Tandoori chicken, nasi briyani, mee mamak, fried maggi (noodles), clear herb soup a bit spicy and concentrated but very tasteful. This menu is also among the famous mamak specialties.
Mamak stall if we see always full of people drink and dine. Their customer turnover very high. I can say very good business investment. The main reason mamak stall restaurant become successful because their food menu is delicious, service was very good and fast, one of the strengths is mamak community very strong.
Their food menu appropriate to eat breakfast, lunch, tea time, dinner and supper. Simple but delectable. Even if we see now many foreigner also like to eat at mamak stalls. It is gaining attention all over the world.
